They will introduce it once it is fully approved, validated, and when there are some number of client devices that can benefit from it beyond just doing speed tests. Expect 12-18 months.Protect is proprietary. If Ubiquiti decides that smart devices aren't worth pursuing anymore, your door lock and sensors become bricks.
